When in
early 2006, PartyGaming, the Worlds leading listed online
gaming company wanted to invest in a Tier 1 ERP system, they
turned to Alf Oldman. Alf was known for his strong
background in successfully implementing ERP systems in
complex, multi-cultural organizations.
Regulated and licensed by the Government of Gibraltar,
PartyGaming has twelve hundred employees, located in
Gibraltar, India, Bulgaria, and Israel. PartyGaming has
customers throughout the World, with market leading and
competitive software products, in twelve languages and three
currencies.
PartyGaming recognized that they need to improve back office
processes and systems in order to achieve:
Scalability to support growth
A platform for future mergers and acquisitions
Improved financial control and transparent reporting
Improved HR controls and reporting
Optimized business processes
Multi-currency environment.
PartyGaming appointed Alf Oldman as Interim Program
Director. Key steps included:
Investigating existing processes and systems, and
conceiving a far reaching improvement program covering all
Finance, Procurement and HR processes globally, based on
best practice
Researching available ERP software applications globally
and selecting Oracle applications, plus a custom development
of a tool to handle reconciliations with Payment Service
Providers
Leading commercial negotiations with vendors and partners,
which included identifying and appointing Sierra Atlantic as
implementation partner, plus Oracle Consulting as
client-side advisor, together with third party localization
suppliers in Bulgaria and Israel
Delivering a phased rollout to 40+ legal entities in
Gibraltar, India, Bulgaria, UK and Israel.
Alf particularly helped PartyGaming with:
